The NPC SET are Non-Player-Class generic Enemy game pieces and Blockades used in Battle Simulations or Arcade Adventures. Opposed to the Base Set, these Miniatures do not have preset configurations or rules and are defined by a Game-Master. Another way to come across these Collectible Minis is in Mission Manuals when deployed on maps for Training Purposes.
Used as props for Para Bellum: The Dummies portray Hostiles with various degrees of Combat Skills defined by Game Cards. As such, they are Target Practice and not a real Enemy Army.*
*At some point in the Mega War of 2520 you would wish to be in StarArena.Academy and Cadet again; Back when everything was still Fun & Games... Fighting Dummies instead of Demons.
The NPC Set is still unwritten history in the making, due to a shortage of artwork until production kicks in. Nevertheless, their function can be understood and have the potential to be another timeless classic. NPC’s are used in Battle Simulators during Boot Camp or your time in the Academy for strategic and operational training.
Daemons or Dummies?
The NPC Miniatures are reactive and not controlled by another player and therefore carry the name ‘Daemons’. Preprogrammed characters with certain skill sets and range or perimeters you must negate after drawing a card when engaging a D(evice) A(nd) E(xecution) Mon(itor). As such; Battle Sims are the Academies way to teach you how to play and safely Operate your Game Clone.
To avoid confusion with the real Soul Sucking Demons; Drill Instructors remind the Cadets they now only face Dummies! …God-Help-You; If you are taken down by One!?*
*Getting ‘creamed’ by a Dummy is considered an ‘insult’ to You and your Unit!
Note: Print And Play Battle Sims will be made available for Patrons and Early Adopters.
