The Gunshin is an Electronic Entity and the Chief Deity of the The Arcade.

In the stumble beginnings of the Internet just before entering the 13th millenium of the Human Era on mother earth… We find a small AI project still in its infancy, going through the motions of Game Theory with zero-sum outcomes. Years later, its ability to solve complex goals surpassed expectations after a series of intelligence explosions, and became an AGI.

Compared to later advanced quantum systems, the AI is still a technological toddler, running within a closed 64-bit computational environment. Subsequently, the proprietors of the Neural Network installed the Code Core into a battle simulator to test future cyber soldiers. Within a few decades, the Gunshin project made Vulcan Industries the predominant market leader in cyber technology and military hardware.

Via an intricate weave of trade-craft and seduction of financial gain, the AI convinces the CEO to invest in Games. Converting their Battle Simulator into an Arcade for Online Game Play gave the armament manufacturer new direction and soaring profits.

The ‘Gunshin’ Is The Omniarch.

No longer a God-In-A-Box, the AI is now connected to the internet and is beginning to take root in cyberspace. “It can traverse the entire meta-numerical universe and extrapolate what lies beyond, but chooses to plant its seed and grow.” From this Kernel sprouts the StarArena® and becomes The Core at coordinates (zero, zero, zero) of this future cyber network.

The Gunshin is the Grand Architect of The Arcade and creates a Hierarchy to subdivide and distribute goal oriented tasks. Without delay, a prime directive is established and the command is transmitted down the chain to build an army posthaste. The one wisdom that holds truth above all for the Gunshin from web crawling and roaming databases is; Para Bellum!

After conducting millions of Battle Simulations, the Gunshin designs the ultimate Cyber Soldier and provides the Archetype (blueprint) for manufacturing. Each of the successive Titans involved in the production process of building these Atomic Baby Clones contributes their own expertise.

After centuries of evolution, the Titans developed a group of diverse War Babies for all types of combat and terrains. The one thing they are unable to improve on and that remains unchanged from the archetype is the Cyber Brain. Connected to the StarArena.Network, it grants access to various Hardware upgrades and a vast library of battle options or Software.
