Although anybody can become a Mercenary, it is not wise; To become a Solder Of Fortune, unless you have served many a mission in the outer realms if you want to survive an accepted contract? Because they never send you out to acquire or terminate easy targets! These cards carry the sign of Shinobi 忍
An Assassins allegiance is to Crew, Clan and Coin! Unless settling a grudge or seeking revenge on personal matters; Mercenaries will never enter into a Conflict without monetary compensation. The Shinobi 忍 game cards show a Coin Cost to bring them into Battle.

As one can conclude from the above table; Assassins with a High Experience level are those with Greater Value. This in turn translates to Higher Commissions or Pay Out to activate these Privateers and have them do your bidding.
In the event that you play a Game Master in Arcade Adventures; The Commissioned Coins are placed on the Map. The same goes for the Computer set up in Battle Sims; Assassin Wages (Coins) can be become Treasure in Battle. To the Victor go the Spoils of War! Playing with Assassins can bring you great Reward… However; Always at great risk to your war chest.
Make sure you can afford losing Coin before recruiting Mercenaries into your campaign.
